James O’ Brien, DDS
Dr. James O’Brien, returns to Nebraska after an esteemed career in the United States Navy, as a board-certified Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. With a meticulous approach rooted in attention to detail and a tireless work ethic, Dr. O’Brien specializes in safe, pain-free dental extractions, complex bone grafting, and implant rehabilitation. Dr. O’Brien also places the highest emphasis on safe and comfortable anesthesia, having been an instructor in Advanced Cardiovascular life support (ACLS). He earned his Dental Degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center and completed his surgical residency at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth, where he was named Resident of the Year. His career includes two previous staff appointments at residency training hospitals.
Caleb Schadel, DDS
Dr. Caleb Schadel is a board-certified Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree with honors from the University at Buffalo. He then completed an internship at Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas and a residency at the Medical University of South Carolina. Dr. Schadel has contributed to textbooks and the Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. His expertise includes wisdom teeth removal, dental implants, bone grafting, and anesthesia.
Blair Racker, DDS, MD
Dr. Blair Racker is a board-certified Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He attended dental school at Creighton University, graduating first in his class. Dr. Racker continued his education by attending medical school and a six-year residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. During residency he completed a one-year internship in general surgery where he obtained extensive training in trauma, head & neck cancer, and was twice-named Physician of the Quarter. Dr. Racker specializes in anesthesia, wisdom teeth removal, implants, bone grafting, and dentoalveolar trauma. He is fluent in Spanish and is passionate about providing comprehensive oral surgery care to his community.
What to expect at your consultation
During your initial consultation, you will meet with a dedicated patient care coordinator and a board-certified oral surgeon where they will give you a full examination with detailed explanation of your treatment plan that was created based on your goals for your oral health, aesthetics, and long-term functionality. The patient care coordinator will also go over financial arrangements including options for third-party financing.
